How does the baby get nutrition in the mothers womb?

The baby is attached to the mom by its umbilical cord and the placenta growing in mom's uterus. The mother's digested nutrients pass through the umbilicus into the baby's bloodstream just like they pass through the mother's bloodstream.

through the umbilical cord attached to the baby's belly button and to the mother's womb
so the food travels and reaches the womb where it further gets travelled through the umbilical cord and then to the baby
