Here is your answer:-

Blood comes to the kidneys from the abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava, the large arteries and veins thatare part of the ascending aorta. Oxygenated blood is brought to the kidneys from a small branch called therenal artery.

Answer is for Class 11 Biology Student.

Renal Blood Supply:

 Both kidneys receive 20-25% of cardiac output (1200 ml/minute) through right and left renal arteries.

 Renal arteries divide to form afferent arterioles.

 Each nephron receives one afferent arteriole which divides into capillary network called glomerulus.

 Glomerular capillaries reunite to form an efferent arteriole which drains blood out of glomerulus.

Note: Lumen of efferent arteriole is narrower than that of afferent arteriole.

 Efferent arteriole divides to form capillary network called peritubular capillaries which surround tubular portions of nephrons in renal cortex.

 Extending from some efferent arterioles are long loop shaped capillaries called vasa recta that surround long loop of Henle of juxtamedullary nephron in renal medulla.

 Peritubular capillaries and vasa recta unite to form renal vein.
