"The Storyteller" written by H.H.Munro(pen name - Saki), is a beautiful crafted, humorous Children's story.
Cyril is the character of a small boy travelling in a train with his aunt along with his cousins. The children are bored within a short time and start troubling their Aunt.
Cyril starts asking his aunt, several questions, for which she has no answer and she is annoyed. She tries to control them by telling a story. But she is interrupted with questions, by Cyril and the other children.
The constant questions asked Cyril brings out the author's satirical tone, which depicts the adult's lack of capability in controlling the children.
