Computer plays important role in our daily life as the most people continue to use it almost everyday. It is a powerful instrument for work, entertainment, study, etc. There are many options of how you can use your computer and I hate when someone saying it is harmful. If you cannot use the thing correct - then don’t use it at all, or it will definitely hurt you.

However, nowadays smartphones replacing computers more and more as they are much more compact and useful. Yes, even becoming more and more powerful they are still far away from computers, but you don’t need the whole capacity of the computer to do your routine tasks.

In conclusion, I could say that computers are still important in terms of video games or work (online business or programming or whatever) but new technologies, in my opinion, will replace them in the next 10–20 years.

P.s. However, it depends on what do you mean under “computer”. I personally understand it as “PC”, but if you meant the “smart module” then I could consider computer to be one of the most important things in our life.
