Indian is not promote anyone religion and the Indian government is not ruled by any religious group and does not and force anyone religion. distribution of religion from state is important for a democracy especially multi religious one like India and thus the states that India is a secular country and also secondly it allows Indian citizens and they have the freedom to practice any religion.
