India is a democratic country. In a large country like India, people think differently, the desires and needs are different and they are follow varied cultures. All this is enough to give rise to conflicts among them. To maintain the order in the society and to ensure the welfare of the people, laws are needed. The constitution establishes the rule of law in the country. In our country, the law treats everyone equally irrespective of caste, region, gender and wealth in the constitution is the ultimate source of laws only the constitution can give validity or legitimacy to the laws.
