DGCA is Directorate General of Civil Aviation that would regulate the operation of gyrocopters in India.
Gyrocopters are already in operation in other countries like Australia, China, Germany and the US, and their introduction in India is also in its final stages. Celier Aviation, a company from Poland is expected to export gyrocopters to India.
DGCA plans to run 2-seater air taxis with these gyrocopters to make transport easy and fast.
