how does the dispersion of white light take place when it passes through a glass prism?Explain.

in a prism reflection of light take place at the two plane surface
but dispersion of white light occur at first surface of prism where it's constituent colours are deviated through different angles
at 2nd surface these colours split suffer only refraction and they get further separated
