Answer:

Sea has a great influence on the climatic condition of a place. Places near sea has moderate climate due to regular exchange of sea breeze and land breeze. Also, the places near sea receive more rainfall and has oceanic climate.

Zones closer to the sea are wetter than those away from the sea due to maritime influence. During summer, land surfaces are warmer than sea surfaces so that inland areas are warmer than sea surfaces.During winter, the opposite happens, land surfaces are cooler than sea surfaces so that inland areas areas are cooler than sea surfaces.Winds blowing over the sea pick moisture and shed it as rainfall on the coastal areas. They blow as dry winds further inland causing inland aridity.

Answer:

Land has a lower heat capacity than water. Winds blowing over the sea warm the land in winter and cool it in summer. The effect diminishes with distance from the sea. This means that the temperature difference between winter and summer is less close to the sea than deep inland. Air masses moving over the sea pick up water and dump it on the land, generally as rain. The amount of moisture available to produce rain reduces with distance from the sea. The British Isles are on the western seaboard of Europe and benefit from the moderating influence of the Atlantic and the Gulf stream in particular. Siberia is a long way inland; itis pretty dry and experiences very big temperature differences between winter and summer.

Meteorologists are scientists who study and work in the field of meteorology. Those who study meteorological phenomena are meteorologist in research while those using mathematical models and knowledge to prepare daily weather forecast are called weather forecasters or operational meteorologists.
