how does the distance of the sea effects the climate of a place

sea has moderating effect on the place near it. sea takes more time to cool or get hot than land. so if land gets hot at a time sea will be cooler. The wind blows from high pressure sea to low pressure land known as sea breeze vice versa during night which is called as land breeze. if a place is near sea it will not experience any extreme temperatures whether hot or cold
