How does the doctor treat the dog

Mr James Herriot takes away the dog with him. He gives the dog no medicine. He gives the dog (Tricki)  food only when he is hungry. The dog gets enough exercise also. Thus the dog himself gets well. He run about and plays with the other dogs. In This way the dog himself get well. Mr James Herriot has to do nothing for it.
