polarization and depolarization. in the neurone, for polarization to occur there is no impulse running through the neurone so we say it is at resting phase ,now at this phase, inside the dendron we have pottassium positive ions and in the andron we have sodium negative ions. but in depolarization or action potential, impulse is stimulated and goes through the neurone step by step and the dendron becomes pottasium negative while the andron becomes sodium positive until the process is completge and repolarization occurs and vice versa.
