hii dear, ur answer is-As we know that the force of gravitation is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the bodies so when the distance between the two bodies is reduced to half, the gravitation will increase by 4 times

F ∝ 1/r^2
If distance r becomes r/2, then the gravitational force will be proportional to
F ∝ 1/ (r/2)^2 ∝ 4/r^2
Hence, if the distance is reduced to half, then the gravitational force becomes four times larger than the previous value.
