Explanation:There are two kind of organisms, one is unicellular while other is multicellular. growth of an unicellular organism always happened through cell enlargement because they are single celled so for them there is no other option left except cell enlargement but on the other hand, growth of multicellular organism always happened because of cell division.

Not all organism grows by increasing in their cell size. Only unicellular (single celled) organism grows in this way because they are made up of single cell and that cell doesn’t have the capacity to divide, so, only unicellular organisms grow through size increment but in contrast of unicellular organism, multicellular organisms grow through cell division because when newly developed cell matures and after sometime it feels that my inner nutritional and oxygen demand has been increased and i can not survive in this way.
