The difference between ‘male gamete in flowers’ and the ‘animal male gamete’ is as follows:

Male gamete in Flowers:

1. They can fertilize with plants of different species.

2. They require the help of external pollinators such as bees, air, water etc.

Animal Male gamete:

1. They cannot fertilize with a female gamete that belongs to a different species or genus.

2. They do not mostly require external pollinators except for certain species such as the fish.
