How does the Nervous Tissue cause Action?

NERVOUS TISSUE has an ability to generate an electrical impulse in response
to stimuli and to rapidly transmit the electrical impulse from the site of the
origin along their length in a particular direction.
Neurons are connected to each other and the other parts of the body through
synapse and a synapse in the muscle fibre is known as neuromuscular junction.

Answer:
When a nerve impulse reaches the muscle the muscle fibre must move. Muscle cells have special proteins that change both their shape and their arrangement in the cell in response to nervous electrical impulses. When this happens new arrangements of these proteins give the muscle cells a shorter form.
