The poem “The Brook” teach
the value of generosity, courtesy and benevolence because it shows the slightest
touch of lawns, grassy plots, small and green trees, bushes and flowers. The benevolence
in the poem can be described by the fact that by not taking care of these
places can result into the destruction of the beauty of these natural things. Our
younger generation should know all the qualities these things have in order to
be courteous to elders and benevolent to elders.
