How does the presence of impurities affect the boiling point of a liquid?

Explanation is by an example...
B.P. of water is 100°C at normal atmospheric pressure. If we add salt ( NaCl ), it's vapor pressure decreases and boiling point increases.
When impurities are added, freezing, boiling and melting points are affected...
