This is because the surface of the mirror is smooth and is composed of a material whose valence electrons do not adsorb the photons which impact the surface. When light hits a piece of white paper, it has a rough surface which reflects light in many different directions, thus breaking up the image.

Answer: the difference between the reflection of light from a mirror different from the reflection of light from a piece of white paper is as follow
a piece of paper has a rough surface so it reflect light in all direction that is irregular reflection or diffuse reflection
ab mirror has a very smooth and shiny surface so it reflects all the light in the same Direction This is regular reflection
