Heya Mate !!!

here is your answer !!!

resistance simply means obstacle that come across flow of current.

following are the factor which influence the flow of resistance.

1 ) LENGTH OF CONDUCTOR

➡ resistance is directly proportional to length of conductor.

➡ this means if the length of conductor is more then the resistance also will be more.

➡ if the length of conductor is Less then the resistance will be less.

2 ) AREA OF CROSS SECTION :

➡ RESISTANCE is inversely proportional to area of cross section.

➡ if the area of cross section of conductor is less than the resistance is more.

➡ if the area of cross section is more than the resistance is less .

3 ) NATURE OF MATERIAL

resistance is dependent on nature of material are the conductor that is used to pass the electricity.

nature of conductor determine the a smooth or obstacle flow of current.( RESISTANCE )

4) TEMPTATURE :-

resistance is directly proportional to temperature

⚽ if the temperature is more than the resistance will be more.

⚽ if the temperature is less than the resistance will be also less.

hope it helps you dear !!!

thanks !!

Answer:in a long conductor , the number of collisions of free electrons with the positive ions will be more compared to a shorter one.therefore, a long conductor offers more resistance.
