The hybridization of carbon in cyclohexane is sp³ whereas in benzene it is sp². The sp³ hybridization makes the angle ~ 109° with their bond whereas sp² hybridization make angle 120° with their bonds. Thus, observing the following conditions,it can be concluded that the structure of benzene differ from the cyclohexane structure.
