how does the time period of a string change if a person sitting on it stands what will happen if another person of same mass joins the first one

hey mate here is ur ans
When the person stands up the center of gravity of his body rises up thus the effective length of the swing decreases
the time period is directly proportional to the effective length
Thus the time period also decreases
that means less time is taken for one oscillation that means the swing moves faster


no change occurs if another person of same mass joins as the time period is independent of mass
