Answer:

Taste buds are sensory organs that are found on your tongue and allow you to experience tastes that are sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. Those tiny hairs send messages to the brain about how something tastes, so you know if it's sweet, sour, bitter, or salty.

Answer:

Due to the Taste buds

Explanation:

There are five types of tastes in the world. They are Sweet,Salty,Sour,Bitter and Savoury or Umami as in Japanese. These tastes are observed by the papillae present on the tongue. The papillae checks the acid or base or neutral solution of the food by changing the taste into nerve impulses that are formed by nerve fibres present at the bottom of the papillae.

Circumvallate, Fungiform, Filiform and Foliate papillae are the four taste buds present on/in the tongue.

Circumvallate papillae :-

They are inverted V shaped present at the posterior part of the tongue.

Fungiform papillae :-

They are mushroom shaped and present at the anterior part of the tongue.

Foliate papillae :-

They are present on the lateral sides of the tongue.

Taste buds die when we get old and they also due when they are burnt by the hotfood that we eat.

Hope it helps
