The man with the hoe creates an image of the individual that is hardworking and not receiving the required privilege. Or the one saying that under paid but had over work. Explanation:

  • The poem describes how much tough it is to live a life that we wanted to have and have dream of.
  • A human being basically should work to earn money for living. But the question is how hard we work for achieving the goals in our lives.
  • It is hard to getting rid of the challenges and getting right payment providing employees.
  • It is really important to have a good education to get a well-paid job.
  • There are people who hire employees though they have less education.
  • There are also people that will help in making the life successful.
  • We should not let others treat us unfairly. We need to work at our best and ensure that nobody uses us for gaining power.
