Answer:

The plot introduces opposition to Caesar.

Explanation:

The main idea of this piece is persuasion. Everyone seems to be making an effort to persuade somebody of something: While Brutus, whom the reader hopes will refuse to take part, takes longer than the others to respond to Cassius' manipulations, he eventually does respond and even completes the job for him by convincing himself, Caesar attempts to create an image in the public's mind of his crowing (an ancient form of spin doctoring).

Shakespeare used Julius Caesar's potential for unrest to explore a leadership subject. He focused on the obligations of the ruling elite and considered what might occur if they lost sight of what it meant to be Roman and lost their shared vision. In fact, the play's characters lose contact with the custom, honour, integrity, and fortitude of their history.

Although gender is not a major theme in this drama, Caesar is susceptible because of his effeminacy. However, the inclusion of the supposedly feminine qualities of compassion and love into the friendship between Brutus and Cassius paradoxically empowers the men to demonstrate greater fortitude while also giving the viewer a greater capacity for empathy.
