LIGHTINING IS ELECTRICITY ..   IN LIGHTINING POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE CHARGES FORM BETWEEN CLOUDS..  IF MANY CHARGES COLECT AT A PLACE THEN IT CAUSE AND MAKE VOLT .
AND DUE TO HIGH VOLTAGE CURRENT  IS FLOW IN THE CLOUDS .

Lightning is electric current.The clouds contain many small ice droplets.These hit each other during the movement of clouds.Due to this collision the clouds will be filled with electic charges.The +ve and -ve charges will be collected in the cloud.As a result lightning occur.
