transport of water occur at night in plants because, at night the transpiration stops, and stomata will close. and it pass to roots, stems, leaves. in this way the water occur at night in plants

During night hours, transpiration is negligible and evaporation is very low. Therefore, root pressure is the major force for movement of water through plants during night, so its maximum effect can be observed during night.
