Bassically amoeba has feet called pseudopodia even though it is a unicellular organism. amoeba's feet cover around the food particle and is being engulfed into its temporary vacuole called food vacuole in the nucleus and the essential nutrients are absorbed from it. the food waste is excreted out by a temporary vacuole. This is how transportation happens in amoeba.

HEY MATE!!!
■ Amoeba takes in food using temporary finger like extension of the cell surface which fuse over the food particle forming a food vacuole.
■ Inside the food vacuole, complex substances are broken down into simpler ones which then diffuse into the cytoplasm.
■ The remaining undigested material is moved to the surface of the cell and thrown out.
