1. every citizen is provided with the universal adult franchise.
2. every citizen is free to choose his/her representative through their votes.
3. every citizen is given vote of equal value.
4. the choice offered by the political parties are same for every citizen of the country.
5. none of the violence takes place during contesting elections.
