the bubbles can be detected and removed by using ultrasound waves.

Hello dear,
● Blow holes -
- Entrapment of gas bubbles during metal casting are called blow holes.
- This occurs due release of moulded gases during pouring.
● Removal of gas bubbles during steel casting -
- Use of rust free chills, chapels and other material
- Ramming the mould slowly
- Provide adequate venting in moulds
- Proper baking of cores
- Control of moisture content in moulding
