The lens focuses light through the vitreous humor, a clear gel-like substance that fills the back of the eyeand supports the retina. The retina receives the image that the cornea focuses through the eye's internal lens and transforms this image into electrical impulses that are carried by the optic nerve to the brain.

eye helps us to see object because it contains various component through we perceive thing.............
in our eyes we have lens ( convex lens ) through which light is refracted and the retina of our eyes then form the image refracted upside down,,, after this the image is send to the brain through a nerve ( by electric signals ) and the brain then interprets it as image.....
