Yes, ot is correct. As during the winter there is a high pressurein India but during the summer the eqautorial pressure belt moves northwards. Creating a low pressure are above the indian subcontinent, which in turn atracts the warm winds from over the southern tropical ocean which collect the moisture over the warm oceans.

This seasonal reversal is called the monsoon.
