First of all fodder is a type of a crop which is exclusively grown for feeding the animals. It is preserved by following measures. (1) after harvesting fodder crop must dehydrated and cleaned before they are stored. (2) pesticides such as Malathion and pyrethrum are sprayed in storage godowns by using manual and mechanized sprayers which are available in the market. (3) chemical pesticides are used to kill pests and insects and the process is known as fumigation. so these are the various steps which should taken for preserving fodder
