The factories set up affect the trees and plantation in varius and adverse ways.

● To set up the factories the land that could have been used for plantation of trees or as agricultural land is then cleared to set it up. The land for plantation is decreasing.

● Factories also use the plant and tree products in the production of the products that they make. For example in production of wooden things, for medicinal purpose, etc.

● The chemical waste from the factories also affect the trees and plants. When the waste products from factories containing toxic levels are dumped in waste grounds, the chemicals seep into land resulting in land pollution.

When the waste products are dumped in water bodies it affects the flora and fauna of water.

Chemicals seeped into soil are absorbed by the plants and thus contaminating the food that we get from plants.
