intermolecular force :
SOLID : in solid , the intermolecular force is strong which causes a definite mass , shape , volume ,high density and rigid.

LIQUID : in liquid , moderate force of attraction less than that in solid, density are lower than those of solid and do not have a definite shape with finite volume and mass.

GAS : in gas , negligible intermolecular force of attraction . they filled entire space of container in which they are enclosed Niether a definite shape nor volume which they are enclosed but have a definite mass and have a highly compressible on applying pressure and have a greater expansion on heating compared to solids and liquids.

Question = Intermolecular force in solid, liquid and gas?
Answer = Molecules of a substance have space between them know as intermolecular force.
➡️Solid
Intermolecular space are least and intermolecular force of attraction is strong.
➡️Liquid
Intermolecular space are large and intermolecular force of attraction is weak.
➡️Gas
Intermolecular space are maximum and intermolecular force of attraction is least.
