Fuse wire is a metallic wire used as a safety device for electric appliances. It contain a metallic wire which can be made up of any metal of appropriate melting point . It works on the principle that electric current causes heat.
When excessive current flows through it , it causes extra heat more than melting point of wire so wore melts and circuit got breaked so the current could not flow anymore . That's how it saves our electric appliances

As we know fuse is a safety device.
The melting point of fuse wire is very low.
And know when electricity pass through a conductor it oppose the flow of current that cause heating effect in the conductor due to high electric current the fuse wire get melt.
This is ur ans hope it will help you
