Hey mate here's your answer.

Inside lungs we have balloon like structures known as alveoli , inside alveoli we have bronchials which contain a network of finger like projections known as villi which are rich in blood increase the surface area making possible the gaseous exchange.

Hope it helps ☺️

Heya !!

Here's your answer !!!

▶Alveolus is the structural and functional unit of lungs which play an major role in the gaseous exchange...

▶The carbon dioxide which is collected from all the body parts is taken to the lungs by pulmonary artery...then reaches the alveoli through blood capillaries

▶The carbon dioxide present in the blood capillaries diffuses into the alveoli while the oxygen from the alveoli gets diffused into the blood capillaries....

▶The oxygen then reaches the heart through Pulmonary vein....

Hence , in this way the gaseous exchange takes place in Alveoli of lungs ....

Hope this helps you :)
