How govt solves an issues related to people

I would say, it's not just about good policies, but also about consistency, in order to end something as colossal an issue as poverty . A government may bring about the best scheme/policy to tackle poverty. But if another government succeeds it(in the next 5 years) and decides to abandone the policy, it ain't gonna change anything. Indian governments have always tried to bring about the best moves they could on this. And now you know the other reason why poverty has still not stopped
