green revolution is the  increase in the production of crops by using artificial methods like by using H Y V seeds, fertilizers,pesticides,etc. in the late 1960's. Their was surplus production of food grain in India and a large amount of it was exported to other country this gradually increased country's economy.It was first started by the farmers of Punjab and other in the northern plain,it requires perfect irrigation system.
