We Know a Chemical Reaction has a Characteristic namely " Irreversible "

It means Ageing of any organism refers to a Chemical reaction.

Another Reason which proves growing of a tree is a chemical reaction i.e change in internal structure as we know in a chemical reaction old bonds are destroyed and new bonds are formed.

Hope it helps ✌️✌️
