how has irrigation helped farmers in Palampur

The spread of electricity has helpedthe farmers of Palampur village in the following ways : (i) Electricity has transformed the system of irrigation. (ii) Electricity is used to run tube wells in the fields. The Persian wheels are being replaced by tubewells.
