Kashmir is a beautiful state in Northern India and is also called the paradise on earth. But the beauty of it is decreasing due to global warming.

Global warming is the phenomenon of increase in the average temperature near the earth surface and has been occurring for the past one or two decades.

Effects of global warming on Kashmir.

- The large glaciers are melting fast.

- The water source is decreasing, as the melting glaciers run into the seas.

- The climatic conditions has been altered. It is difficult to demarcate autumn from winter.

- The amount of rainfall have been altered and the temperature is increasing gradually.

- There is a decrease in the amount of snowfall.
