how has SHG are the best source to help the poor?

SHG are the group created by women to fulfill their loan needs..
members of this group can take loan from the group to meet their needs..
it mainly consists of 15- 20 members,,
if the group is regular in saving, they might get big loans from bank which they can use it for family needs..
it is mainly followed in villages.
