Answer:

Hey there, this was my favorite poem by walt whitman.

Here the word "token" refers to the characteristics which animal still preserve and which have been lost by the humans.Humans also possessed those token in their past ancestral forms. But in course of time, humans progressed a lot. During their civilization, they lost certain characteristics on which poet has emphasized by the use of word "token" These characteristics includes self-satisfaction, contentment etc. Humans complains and weeps for their sins. Humans always remain obsessed with the idea of possession whereas animals don't have greed or rather you can say, they have self satisfaction. Also, animals feels no need to kneel down before God whereas humans do.Humans discriminate one another on various grounds whereas animals enjoys equality among themselves.

And that's the reason why Walt Whitman and me want to transform into animal again.

Well, that was really a nice poem.

Answer:

2 marker :

The "tokens", good virtues and simplicity of nature, had been granted equally to all by god. By losing all the good virtues and engaging themselves in brutal, unnecessary sin-worthy activities, humans have lost their "tokens" over time.

Explanation:

you just gotta write how they have lost it. so in simple words when one eats a bitter medicine, he/she loses the taste of formerly eaten chocolates----right? In the same way, by adopting these bad habits, humans have lost the good ones(tokens)
