freshwater resources in India very love with the increase in MNCs and MMTS the most of the water resources are taken by these industries and urbanization has increase the use of water resources which has led to decrease decline in the end lowering in the quantity

No .of Industries use water to various purposes like recycling and reusing.
As industry provide jobs to labour (rural),they move to urban areas.
Most of the cities are over populated.So water is needed not only for domestical use but also to produce food.
