how headphones work?

Headphones work as the same way a loud speaker does. The difference is in fact the size.

It consists of cases , wire , coil and a permanent magnet.

A pair of earphones is composed of 2 transducers that convert the electrical energy produced by the device into sound energy by using magnets to vibrate the air and that we hear as music.

It is just like any other circuit with a conductor which draws current from a battery and supplies it to the load ( transducer).

Two ends of the headphones complete the circuit.

Digital audio is stored in the form of of 0 and 1. When we hit play the particular audio's 1 and 0 code is sent through a digital to analog converter which converts the code into electrical signals.

That signal is sent through the headphone wires .

Thank u

Hope this helps you
