I think you can come to Ace easily but make sure that you use heal as much as you can and atleast come in top five because I am also Conqueror player I have experience

Both methods will work,
A) this is what i choose because being a zone survivor is booring, and you're K/D ratio will be less, being a conqueror with 1 k/d is a bad profile...
you need better skills aswell because u will get harder opponents, in squads, you need a team that cooperates with you and accepts your strategies , a random squad will not help u in most cases.
B) it is easy but boring method, doing this will surely increase ur rank but decreases your k/d , you dont need any combat skills as well and squads will be useful as you're whole squad is alive together camping without risking life
