Global Warming is caused not only because of CO2, but there are many other gases taking part in it, such as sulphur dioxide, methane, etc..

But the main constituent is CO2. Carbon Dioxide as the ability to trap heat in it, therefore, the light rays which fall on the earth, instead of being reflected, are trapped by CARBON DIOXIDE, which leads to more and more heat, making the weather warm.

That is what we call Global Warming
