Population affects the seepage of water underground as a huge population leads to over consumption of water moreover this leads to increase in the rate of evaporation as evaporation is a key for the seeping of rainwater underground. Other human activities also lead to excess unused water seeping underground.

Increase in population affect the seepage of groundwater because it demands space for living. They do the following things:
-Clear forest
-Make buildings and houses on land
Therefore,it has reduced the land for seepage of water.
