Genetic predisposition is the likely chance of developing a particular disease, depending upon the person’s genetic set up. This happens usually as a result of genetic variations handed down from the parent. Such genetic variations do not directly cause the disease, but it only leads to its development.
The risk of disease in people with Genetic predisposition depends on several factors. Other than genetic factors, lifestyle and environmental factors also play a role in getting diseases.
